International Transporters Association (UND)

UND was established in 1974 as a representative of the Turkish road transport sector on national and international platforms. UND aims at enhancing competitiveness of Turkish transport operators by providing them up-to-date information on potential risks and opportunities, offering value added services, encouraging national/ international partnerships while ensuring that the sector offers high quality service, operates respectfully towards the society and the environment. UND’s membership consists of 1176 transport operators which totally carry 40 % of Turkish exports (in value terms), with an annual contribution of 6 billion US$.

Through the focused working group on “Improvement of Undergraduate curriculum on logistics”, UND has good experience in curriculum development. Through various EU and national projects, UND has gained significant experience in university-sector partnership projects and international staff exchanges, besides a wide network of partners around Europe.
